Hinks & Sons Griffin Oil Lamp c1895.

Solid brass base with Griffin like figure supporting cut glass font – which glows yellow/green under black light- and Hinks marked collar. Duplex burner marked ‘Hinks Duplex Patent’ with old Griffin Brand chimney and Acid Etched ball shade

Some damage to glass in thumb wheel – hard to see in photos.

The base appears twice in ‘James Hinks, Sons’ lighting catalogue pages 24 and 43.

Brass can be polished if required

Fully restored and working.
